These scholarships are available to sons, daughters or legally adopted dependents of IUPAT members in good standing.
All applicants must submit an essay, not less than 1,000 or more than 2,000 words on the following selected essay topic.
"What would you say to a group of your peers to educate them on the relevancy, vitality and importance of Labour Unions in today's economy?"
The deadline for essays to reach IUPAT Headquarters is December 15, 2015 and winners will be announced in April 2016.
This program was created to offer student athletes the opportunity to pursue their athletic ambitions while earning an advanced educational degree at the academic institution of their choosing.
Scholarship applications must be submitted and received by December 15, 2015.

The Robert J. Watson Maintenance Industry National Bursary Program awards $1,000 bursaries to the sons and daughters of union members who are attending post-secondary education institutions. Union members eligible to apply will be members of local unions which service GPMA or NMA maintenance projects in Canada. The program is named in honour of the longtime GPMC chairman, who was instrumental in developing the unionized contract maintenance industry in Canada.
